Trick or Treat!

I've challenged myself many times since I began with Close to My Heart.  Today I finished this Trick or Treat for my grandkids.  The base is the coffin from the Artiste Cricut cartridge, cut at the suggested size of 7.5" from black cardstock.  I used the Martha Stewart circle cutter to create the holes in the lid.  The treat tubes are filled with different candies and labeled using the Magic Potions stamp set.  Of course the labels were cut from Smokey Plum cardstock, using the Artiste cartridge.  They were cut the sizes suggested on the stamp set package and stamped using black ink.  I hope the kids love it as much as I loved making it for them.

A Crafty Day

The weather is so nice although it's a bit too warm for me, they (whoever 'they' are) say it will get warmer before it cools off. The only problem is that the bugs and reptiles love it, ick.

I went to card club at Beckys last evening and we made some great cards! She always comes up with some cute cards. Check them out.

I needed to make something today.  After a search I found some great ideas at The Letter 4. The Crafters Survival Kit was so cute! So I borrowed the idea and ran with it.  Mine aren't as cutsie and girly as hers but I had fun and my daughters like them.

So I've created something today and I feel better. For me it's an accomplishment.

Have a wonderful day, be creative!

Things I made this week

Okay, here's my first try at showing off some things I made, let's see if it works.

I love making these little 'milk cartons' I got a tutorial last year to make the holder but I did improvise.

Some valentine cards I made.

I love gable boxes. While organizing my craft area, I found a bunch of di-cuts, and this is the result, I just had to play. I have about 10 more pages with two on each page as well as a bunch of tags. They're 2 1/2 x 4, I think they're from Stampin' Up.

Another milk carton, just very tall and a mini pizza box.

I had fun!!!
