Lavender

I finally did it!  I now have a lavender garden.  I got a very large plant from Mom and we divided it into 24 plants.  I hope they do okay, I'll baby them.  I need to do a little more research to find out about taking care of them, but they don't need a lot of water.  For now I hope I can keep them alive.  The rest of my yard is more or less a xeriscape, I'm not much of a gardener, we have a well and I don't want to waste water.  Good excuse, huh?

Wish me luck!

Fun Stuff Friday

Friday's are my busy day.  In the morning I get all caught up on housework and then in the afternoon I volunteer at the Kennewick Senior Center for an afternoon of BUNCO.  There are some very cool people who play with us, we just started last fall and they love it!! Men and women play and we all have so much fun.  The people donate prizes and we all bring treats.  I have grown to love my group and it continues to grow.  If you're in the area come join us!!!

BUNCO Jewelry

It's still beautiful weather here, but it's hot enough that I would rather be inside crafting.  As I was sorting through all my 'stuff' I found some beads that look like dice.  I'm a big BUNCO fan and am always looking for something cool for my BUNCO Beauties.  I designed a necklace that, maybe, will be fun for all of my besties.  I've done some fancy beading in the past but it's something that I couldn't keep up with.  This project is really simple so I can get a lot of them done.

I think they're cute.

Take care, enjoy the day and be creative!

A Crafty Day

The weather is so nice although it's a bit too warm for me, they (whoever 'they' are) say it will get warmer before it cools off. The only problem is that the bugs and reptiles love it, ick.

I went to card club at Beckys last evening and we made some great cards! She always comes up with some cute cards. Check them out.

I needed to make something today.  After a search I found some great ideas at The Letter 4. The Crafters Survival Kit was so cute! So I borrowed the idea and ran with it.  Mine aren't as cutsie and girly as hers but I had fun and my daughters like them.

So I've created something today and I feel better. For me it's an accomplishment.

Have a wonderful day, be creative!
