Back to Krafting

Hello Everyone!
It's been a long time.  I've missed crafting so much and I really want to get back to it.  Last week my twin girls celebrated their birthday so to get back in the swing I created some cards for them.

My girls are identical so I made their cards alike but in their favorite colors.  It works for them as long as there's money inside!

I had so much fun I'm setting up some classes!  The first class will be September 5 @ 2pm and 6pm.  We'll make Thank you cards.  I hope you'll be able to join me, there will be a $5 fee for supplies.  RSVP in a comment below

New Class

Okay, I'm ready to do some crafting, join me in my Kraft Kottage!   I'll be offering some new classes and open crafting.   The first class will be to make a gift bag, and it will be held on two different days.  You can do one or both.
Splitcoaststampers calls it a box in a bag, others call it a bag in a box.
It's pretty cute and sort of looks like a purse.

I'm Back

Hello
I've been gone way too long.  I've haven't had a good year and I want to change that by getting back into my crafting.  Creating is good for ones soul.
Earlier this week I had some friends over to help me make up some corsages for our group.  I think they turned out pretty cute!
It was tons of fun and everyone loved them!
It did get my creative juices flowing so I'm working on some cute containers to hold chocolates, I'll probably get them finished to show off in a few days.
Take care!

Sit Down Saturday

How funny, I just can't figure out how to create a blog title so I'm going to 'wing it' for awhile until I come up with just the right ones.  But if you're reading this I appreciate that you're not running off.  Thank you!

The card I created for today is so cute and simple.
It's a 4x4 card.  I used Colonial White for the card base, Sarita for the mat, Goldrush and Buttercup for the flower, cut using Artiste (pg.55) and the banner cut from Buttercup using Artiste (pg.35), Happy Birthday is from the Banner Wishes, My Acrylics stamp set.  All are products from Close to My Heart.

Don't forget to make a comment and/or follow my blog to be entered into this months drawing!

Have an enjoyable day and get creative!

Happy August

I have been traveling around this summer.  Not a lot by some folks standards but for me... a lot!  I've acquired a few things along the way and want to share with some of my BUNCO peeps.  I play BUNCO twice a month with 11 other girls each time and on Fridays I organize a group at the Kennewick Senior Center.  So my craft today sort of shows a bit of craftiness and frugalness.
(I did my best with the photography.)
I found some really cute post-its in Disneyland.  There were so many of them I decided to divide them up to share with lots of my friends.  I cut the tag from White Daisy cardstock using the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  I sponged the edges with Blush, Creme Brulee, Heavenly Blue (sorry all retired colors) and Sweet Leaf. So there you go with some tightwad craftiness.
I hope you have a wonderful day.

A Crafty Day

The weather is so nice although it's a bit too warm for me, they (whoever 'they' are) say it will get warmer before it cools off. The only problem is that the bugs and reptiles love it, ick.

I went to card club at Beckys last evening and we made some great cards! She always comes up with some cute cards. Check them out.

I needed to make something today.  After a search I found some great ideas at The Letter 4. The Crafters Survival Kit was so cute! So I borrowed the idea and ran with it.  Mine aren't as cutsie and girly as hers but I had fun and my daughters like them.

So I've created something today and I feel better. For me it's an accomplishment.

Have a wonderful day, be creative!
