The seasons are upon us! Soon the Halloween costumes will be put away to make way for the fall decor for Thanksgiving! Such beauty in all of it, well, except some of the costumes! They go way out sometimes, but what fun!
The following is a photo of the projects from a class I did earlier this month. They were so fun!
I've got some new classes posted after a long and fun break. I've been having lots of fun with family and friends, but now it's time to get serious with the crafting! I love papercrafting and love to share with friends. I hope you can join me.
Go on now, get creative! Have a great day!
My name is Kris Mann, I love to create and share what I do. I do many crafts, but my fave is paper crafts. Running a close second is crochet, cross-stitch and sewing.

Fun Sunday
I was invited to do a demo for some ladies and had a lot of fun. I met some new friends and got to visit with a friend. We made a quick little card, then I tried to show them how to cut and make a box from the Art Philosophy cartridge, but my Cricut quit! Bummer, they were very understanding and even invited me back!
Here's the card, they really liked it!
Thanks for stopping by!

Sit Down Saturday
How funny, I just can't figure out how to create a blog title so I'm going to 'wing it' for awhile until I come up with just the right ones. But if you're reading this I appreciate that you're not running off. Thank you!
The card I created for today is so cute and simple.
It's a 4x4 card. I used Colonial White for the card base, Sarita for the mat, Goldrush and Buttercup for the flower, cut using Artiste (pg.55) and the banner cut from Buttercup using Artiste (pg.35), Happy Birthday is from the Banner Wishes, My Acrylics stamp set. All are products from Close to My Heart.

Timely Cards
I'm a member of a card club. They are a super group of ladies, monthly we take turns hosting and coming up with ideas for cards or, well, sometimes, anything. This month the challenge was sympathy cards, sadly something that we all need occasionally. The girls made some beautiful cards and I am very appreciative for all of them.
This is the card I made. I'm pleased with it and everyone seemed to like it.
I used White Daisy cardstock, Twilight ink, the design element was cut using the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge (pg. 26), the stamped element was from the Swirls Around stamp set.
All are from Close to My Heart.
I did make two designs but opted to use only one of them.
I'm getting a late start this month, but there will still be a drawing. This month the prize will be one of each of the items I post each day, that I make. Sometimes there may be items I share that are made by others and those won't be part of the drawing and I will remind you of that if it happens.
The drawing will be over at midnight, August 31, 2014, Pacific time. You can enter by making a comment and you'll get an additional entry if you follow me.
Have a great day, now go get creative!

Happy August
I have been traveling around this summer. Not a lot by some folks standards but for me... a lot! I've acquired a few things along the way and want to share with some of my BUNCO peeps. I play BUNCO twice a month with 11 other girls each time and on Fridays I organize a group at the Kennewick Senior Center. So my craft today sort of shows a bit of craftiness and frugalness.
(I did my best with the photography.)
I found some really cute post-its in Disneyland. There were so many of them I decided to divide them up to share with lots of my friends. I cut the tag from White Daisy cardstock using the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. I sponged the edges with Blush, Creme Brulee, Heavenly Blue (sorry all retired colors) and Sweet Leaf. So there you go with some tightwad craftiness.
I hope you have a wonderful day.

DIY Kit Challenge
Hello!
I went to a get together with some of my CTMH Besties last night. Okay, it was a business meeting but we also had some fun.
The challenge was to come up with a project and bring it in the form of a kit for each of the other demonstrators. There were some great ideas! The one I created was a tiny milk carton.
I was happy that everyone liked it. It was created from the "2-4-6-8" box that's been around for many years. You will all learn that I am obsessed with boxes. Following is a diagram of how to make one, sort of, I learned that I need to be more explicit in my instructions. Since this was a learning experience, then it was a success.
The dark lines are score lines and I noted where they should be cut, and I should have noted that the 'skinny' section on the right end is where you would put the adhesive. I would recommend the red sticky tape for boxes.
The products I used were from Close to My Heart. White Daisy cardstock (#1385), stamp set used was My Life, included in the Artbooking Cricut Collection (#Z1906), stamped with Cranberry ink (#Z2116), the flower and hearts were cut using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge (#Z1686) from Cranberry cardstock (#1272), and the 'leaves' Topiary cardstock (#X5635). Also used a binder clip and some bling.
Have a great day, go get creative!

Happy New Year!
Hello everyone! I've been away far too long! I hope all the holidays were great for you, I know mine were great. I was spoiled by Santa and I got to spend lots of time with my family. That's all I need.
I have rescheduled the Cricut Class. Get more from your Cricut! I'll help you out on Wednesday, February 12 @ 6:30 or Saturday February 15 @ 10AM. Sign up early there's only room for 4 in each class. Bring your own Cricut and accessories.
I've had the bug. The crafting bug, so I covered a box. The My Creations Card Box (Z1647) and I used a retired paper pack. But I did have fun creating.
Here's the box...
