Cutesie stuff...

My sis and I are readying up for a bazaar, so I've been making things.  I have so much fun I hope others will like them, but that's okay, what doesn't sell I will give for valentines day.

I love to make boxes so that's what I did.

This is the first one I made, they can all be used as a bank when the candy is gone.

I had fun now I will go make more stuff!! What fun I'm having!!!

Retirement Gift

We recently threw a surprise retirement party for my dear sis.  We wanted a "memory album" for her, so I made a silly portfolio filled with file folders.  I think it turned out pretty cute.

This photo isn't very good but I made a video that I will post at the bottom of this entry.  As you can see I also made some 'letterhead' so people could write up stories, then file them away.  So cute!  She did like it.

I'm not so good at making videos but I hope you enjoy it.

Happy New Year

A new year is upon us.  I hope it is being good to everyone.  Our holiday's were the best, very quiet but plenty of blessings and gifts.  Let's hope this year is the best, after all things can only get better.


I've been so busy with a project, I can't wait to show you a "mini album" I've been working on.  It's so hard to keep a secret, but it'll be worth it.

Dropping a line...

Hi there. It's been such a long time!  I've been trying to get used the an empty nest. Yes, my daughters have moved out, the last of the five.  Now all of my kids are independent.  I miss them, but it's nice.  I've been doing a bit of crafting, doing some scanning and some editing. The ol' man and I have even been carrying on conversations!  I made an expandable card box yesterday, I found it at The Paper Boutique, she's really talented and has tons of other things I'll probably go back and make as many as I can.

Just for today

I think today will be a good day.  I am still at my dad's but it looks like we'll be putting him in an assisted living home, today.  It's difficult to take care of him, especially since I was not at all prepared for this.  My big bro kind of neglected to fill me in on everything.
